In response to a state RFP, we were selected to work with town, staff, and commission members to develop and implement a strategic, sustainable marketing plan using the “Historic Wethersfield” brand. Our goal was not only to create a memorable logo, but to build a comprehensive social media campaign that would amplify the campaign’s message and resonate with the community. The goal was
to attract, expand, and retain businesses, residents, and visitors
to the town and to strengthen community pride. The intent was for these marketing services to focus on both the Old Wethersfield-Main Street area as well as the greater community in a way that differentiates, yet connects all
target audiences.
We ultimately created a tourism marketing campaign for Wethersfield and developed the “Make Your Day Historic” slogan and logo. The campaign successfully highlighted the town’s rich history while promoting its modern attractions, businesses, and hospitality offerings. Our approach extended beyond branding—we created a comprehensive social media strategy that amplified the town’s identity and included day trip itineraries that engaged both residents and visitors alike.
Wethersfield is brimming with lush gardens, towering trees, and vibrant greenery, and we knew it was essential to highlight these natural treasures in our campaign. One standout spot we visited was the garden adjacent to the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum. The photos we captured there were nothing short of stunning, making for striking full-size posts that transported viewers straight to Wethersfield—whether they were strolling the streets in person or simply browsing on social media.

We also captured some incredible shots around town, showcasing everything from vibrant markets and charming ice cream shops to a historic bed and breakfast, cozy dining spots, picturesque farms, and much more. These images provided rich content that helped paint a picture of a day in Wethersfield—showing potential visitors that the town offers far more than just its historic homes. Wethersfield is a place where you can immerse yourself in both history and modern-day enjoyment, making it the perfect destination for a fun-filled day.
