City Fresh is a project that’s very close to our hearts. It all started with a significant challenge—one that demanded a creative and impactful solution. East End Market and Cafe (City Fresh' parent company) needed an identity for a brand that will
bring fresh grown produce to city communities and provide a
resource for healthy living for city communities. That’s how City Fresh came to life. For more details on the journey, feel free to check out our case studies section. Once the brand was established, it was time for a fresh start! (See what we did there?) Over the following months, we took on the task of creating and scheduling content designed to build brand awareness and foster engagement, ultimately shaping City Fresh into what it is today.
Working on content creation and social media management for this project was a rewarding experience for several reasons. First, it gave us the opportunity to connect with the team and gain insight into their mission of serving the community, which greatly informed our content strategy. Second, the vibrant, bold colors we worked with made every creative step exciting and visually dynamic. And third, each completed project felt meaningful, knowing it would contribute to their broader goal of making a positive impact in the community.
A notable aspect of this project is the farmers market, which operates every Sunday during the summer, offering free fresh produce and other essential items to the community. Designing graphics for this initiative was a rewarding experience, as it allowed us to contribute to a meaningful cause. The design process also provided the opportunity to use playful shapes and visuals that conveyed a message of hope, service, and approachability.

Whether it was sharing recipes for others' cookbooks or receiving recipes for City Fresh's cookbook, highlighting the farmers market, providing information on hydroponic greenhouses, or creating general updates and calls to action, each project was a fulfilling experience.
